Kaycee is a town in Johnson County, Wyoming in the USA. The population was 249 at the 2000 census. It is home to a museum that preserves the cattle ranching heritage of the area, especially the history of the Johnson County War. Western music star and rodeo champion Chris LeDoux (1948–2005) resided on a ranch near Kaycee though he was actually born in Biloxi, Mississippi.
