Britt is an unincorporated community in St. Louis County, Minnesota, United States. Britt was once a proper town with only a post office and a carpet store, has dissolved into a large community that spans an enormous area. It is generally considered the inhabited area north of the city of Virginia that starts at Highway 169 and goes west past Highway 53. However, Britt is now the unorganized township to the west centered around Highway 53 while the area near Highway 169 consists of Sandy and Wouri Townships. County Roads 65 and 68 are also in the vicinity. Britt is located within the Superior National Forest.
