Citra is an unincorporated community in Marion County, Florida. It is the home of the pineapple orange. The town has two buildings on the National Register of Historic Places: The Citra Methodist Episcopal Church and the Armstrong House. The community is part of the Ocala Metropolitan Statistical Area.
