Wyoming is a city in Kent County in the U.S. state of Michigan. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 69,368. That makes it the 20th largest city in the state of Michigan. It is the largest suburb of Grand Rapids. In 1832 the area was settled, was initially organized as a township in 1848, and then became a city in 1959.
