Lake City is a town in Craighead County, Arkansas in the United States, along the St. Francis River. The population was 1,956 at the 2000 census. It is included in the Jonesboro, Arkansas Metropolitan Statistical Area. It serves as a second county seat, serving the Eastern District of Craighead County (Jonesboro serves the Western District).

What is utilities law?

Public utilities provide electric, gas, water or telephone service to customers in a specified area. Utilities have a duty to provide safe and adequate service on reasonable terms to anyone who lives within the service area on without discriminating between customers.
