Portage is a town in Box Elder County, Utah, United States. The population was 257 at the 2000 census. The town received its name from Mormon apostle Lorenzo Snow. He named it Portage after his birth place of Portage County, Ohio.

What is utilities law?

Public utilities provide electric, gas, water or telephone service to customers in a specified area.
